Planet Earth Eye love this new CD, "Planet Earth" and 4 reasons all my own, this CD will forever b a cherished favorite of my heart. "Mr. Goodnight" is my rhythm ~ eye was dancing it from the first moment eye heard it ~ n eye find it almost amazing that eye can sing this song as comfortably as eye can dance it... eye so want 2 dance n sing this one 4 Prince... I'm hoping n praying that one day eye will get that chance... Loved "Future Baby Mama" from when eye first heard it, though eye cried the first two times eye tried to hear it all the way through. Love it even more now... what a beautiful song... n it still brings tears 2 my eyes... "Mr. Goodnight" does 2... Eye first heard "Somewhere Here On Earth" at the March 24th show ~ eye didn't hear the music that night, eye only had ears 4 hearing Prince's voice singing it... Now that eye have the CD, eye appreciate the sweet melodic musical arrangement that accompanies his voice. Renato's Piano is beautiful, the horns so mellow, n ya'll should know that eye love his voice... "All The Midnights In The World" is such a fresh, young song! Full of hope 4 the future, it's like a breath of fresh air n makes me think of times that eye know r coming ~ n xpect 2 c in my lifetime...

Prince has made this CD a cherished favorite of mine...
Eye happen 2 like all the songs on this CD, but "Mr. Goodnight" and "Future Baby Mama" are, by far, my favorites... "Somewhere Here On Earth" and "All The Midnights In The World" are rapidly catching up...

Hearing Shelby in "Chelsea Rodgers" makes me smile, her voice is like an old familiar friend from back when Prince was still playing "3121 Vegas" ~ n eye just love the horns in this song! Is that Shelby eye'm hearing? Eye think so... though some folks r saying it's Marva King... r we both right, perhaps?

"The One U Wanna C" is so much fun! n although eye agree wit a friend when he says, "it truly is Prince" ~ 2 my way of thinking, "Mr. Goodnight" still pegs him better...

"Lion of Judah" get on them drums, Cora! n Prince, you'll never b past u'r xpiration date... n eye can just c u in my minds eye playin' u'r guitar 2 this one, Prince...

Uplifting as always, "Resolution" gives me so much encouragement from the words "With Love in the lead, resolution will follow" Yes, every sacrifice that we're trying 2 make, every change 4 the better 2 ~ with Love in the lead ~ all things are possible...

Yeah, I'm a jerk, but my first thought on "Planet Earth" was something like "sure can't dance 2 this one!" But then eye listened 2 it... Yes, he has many other fine points... but perhaps the thing eye have always loved most about Prince is what he's had 2 say... the words in this song r so beautiful ~ my favorites being:
