Title: Pathway of Peace Year Created: Summer, 2002 Medium: Computer Art Width: 8 inches Height: 10.5 inches Theme: Christian, Religious Edition Size: Original Description: The original painting of Our Lady of All Nations was used as the basic image to create an Adobe Illustrator full page ad or wall poster. Adobe Photoshop was used to create Clipping Paths of Mary's head, hands, feet, and of the world upon which she stands. These clipping paths were then imported into Adobe Illustrator to complete the graphic. A "follow-the-dots" pattern was developed for the central focus of the illustration and that portion of the picture was left primarily white, with subtle gradient mesh shading and a few simple lines to enhance the "missing" items in the ad. The pen tool was used to create the sash that compliments the ìmissingî gown. Ad text that tied into the "follow-the-dots" theme was developed and set on an oval path. |
